Jason Leavy

A native New Yorker, Jason was born on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Following childhood in New Jersey, he began his professional career as a photographer, while attending Rochester Institute of Technology. Jason’s first creative focus was capturing people in their environment, such as their home, office, or other personal space. This led, organically, to a vocation as a portrait photographer for artists and businesspeople. Jason graduated in 2016 with a BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration. With his degree in hand, Jason found his way back to New York City.

Once back in the big apple, Jason pursued his career as an Advertising Photographer shooting subjects in locations nearby, as well as around the world. As an industry recognized professional photographer, Jason’s work appeared in major publications such as Forbes, People Magazine, The Business of Fashion, Women’s Wear Daily, GAYLETTER, and others. While his stature in the photographic community continued to rise, Jason’s work expanded to include portfolio imagery for real estate agents, interior designers, architects, and commercial developers. In less than a year, Jason’s client list had grown exponentially and now includes teams from nearly every major brokerage in the area.

In January of 2022, Jason devoted himself full time to his brainchild, Accent New York. With an increasing demand for his services, he has built out a full service agency where NYC’s real estate brokers and construction professionals can access the area's most talented support service professionals. Accent prides itself on professionalism with services from conventional photography to virtual staging to aerial imaging—and so much more.
